Hermle Clock History


The story of Hermle began in 1922 when Franz Hermle started the company Franz Hermle & Sohn in Gosheim. In 1930 it was already one of the most modern clock production sites in the region.


Alongside the production and distribution of many different types of large Hermle clocks, since 1930 Franz Hermle and Sohn from Gosheim also focussed on the production of mechanical mechanisms which were used by other clock manufacturers.


Each year at Hermle, in its clocks catalogue, the Uhrenmanufaktur presents several new models in addition to its timeless masterpieces. In the best of tradition, the range extends from floor clocks and wall clocks to table clocks, ship’s clocks and regulators.
