This clock features a fully overhauled 8 day striking mechanism by Colin Crole of Perth who is recorded as making clocks between 1790-1810. The original dial has been profesionally restored. When this clock was received it was without a case, so a local cabinet maker was commissioned to make a case for it. The case is made of Meranti Mahogany. See photos below.
