Comitti Clocks

It was in 1845 that Onorato Comitti moved from Italy to England and soon set-up his first business producing high quality barometers and related instruments.  By the end of the Victorian period Mr Comitti also started to produce high quality clocks and the family run company has been at the forefront of british clockmaking ever since.  Today the company is one of the last remaining companies in The UK still producing clocks and barometers. 

Comitti of London are renowned all over the world for producing high quality clocks of all types using traditional and modern methods to create clocks which will last for years to come.  The clocks which they produce, include Longcase clocks (Grandfather, Grandmother, Grandaughter), congreve clocks, navigator clocks, meridian clocks, mayfair clocks, greenwich clocks, wall clocks, bracket and mantel clocks and both aneroid and mercury barometers. 

 

Glenbryde now provides a 3 year Guarantee on all new Comitti of London clocks sold after April 2012.

This warranty is provided in the following way.  In year 1 & 2 all warranty work is done under the manufacturers 2 year Guarantee.  In year 3, Glenbryde provides a further full year guarantee against mechanical failure. 

This guarantee is in addition to any statutory rights which you may have.  Cover for damage is not provided due to negligence, mishandling or attempted repair by anyone other than Comitti or Glenbryde.  The cost of returning the clock for warranty repairs will be met by the customer.
